I saw the McQueen SS2010 show (via) and couldn't stop thinking that these shoes must be so atrocious to walk in... Well, fashion runway shows are all about provocation and originality.

Beside the shoes, McQueen keep his genius creativity with the hypnotic prints, cuts and draped fabrics. The atmosphere of the show (the video, the lights, the sounds/music, the makeup - alien-look-a-like) made the robotic runway even more surreal. The cherry on top of the ice cream was the premiere of Lady Gaga's new song "Bad Romance" ending the show. Definitively one of my favourites shows for Spring-Summer 2010...

LEGO-LIZE Yourself

I want it!! These USB-key are from Systown and are only sold in Korea.

I've notice that lately the LEGO hysteria had gone from child plays to grown-ups material.
And I include myself in that group. I think it's been since I saw these Balenciaga shoes back in 2007 (FW 2007-08)

and the accessories made the NY twins Dee and Ricky (seen on Marc Jacobs SS2008). They had a huge success with they accessories that includes belts buckles, broochs, headbands and barrettes.

They got international attention after they products were worn not only for Marc Jacobs runway collection but also by celebrities, such as Kanye West and Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy. They released this month some new broochs:
The Apple and the Pac-man ghost brooch.

You can find some many design products lego-inspired, such as the LEGO flash drive, LEGO MP3 player and LEGO MAC Mini. The LEGOmania is here to stay.

And so it begin...

That's it! After much deliberation, I decided it was time to put my hands to work and finally start my own blog!
I've been a compulsive fashion blog-devourator for several years now and because of that, my friends called me "vania.com" as in the massive archives that I had about... well... fashion...
When they needed something fashion-related, they simply said:"ask Vania, she probably have it in her USB key".
My native language is not english (I'm Portuguese and French-Canadian), so i'm gonna do my best and hope that this blog will help me improve my language skills...

With that said, I hope you enjoy the ride, and let me know what you think about my blog, your observations, advices,etc... It's just with (constructive) critics that we can learn and move fowards...
